Part of the family-run group which includes Antigorio snc and Cava Favalle snc, the personally-owned firm of Neri Carlo has been active since the 19th century, when it quarried and dressed local stone.

The firm is now specialised in quarrying, exploiting primarily S Gray Beola from its own quarry. This stone has been famous since time immemorial, and is widely used for a variety of features in civil buildings.

S Grey Beola was the main stone used to build the old town centre of Domodossola, from the 12th century, as recorded in the Annals of the town.

Neri Carlo has always kept abreast of the latest techniques, with an eye to evolving markets and stone cutting technology. The company uses state-of-the-art technology.

its latest acquisition is a fully remote-controlled 40-ton derrick with a 65 metre boom.
